Official Homepage Launched
Find All Discount Events, Special Exhibitions, and Program Information in One Place
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on October 24 that it has officially launched the integrated homepage and KakaoTalk Plus Channel for the nationwide large-scale consumer festival, the "Korea Grand Festival."
The Korea Grand Festival is a consumer festival that will take place simultaneously both online and offline across the country for 12 days, from October 29 to November 9. Central government ministries, local governments, the distribution industry, traditional markets, small and medium-sized enterprises, and small business owners will all participate.
The newly launched integrated homepage serves as a cross-ministerial consumer festival hub platform, with participation from 10 ministries including the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Ministry of Science and ICT, Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Office for Government Policy Coordination, and Korea Customs Service. It has been designed to allow the public to intuitively and conveniently explore discount events, special exhibitions, and events for traditional markets and small business owners being held nationwide.
The integrated homepage organizes various programs by category, including ministry-led sales events, major benefits such as discount rates for featured products, special regional events by city and province, and programs like the Win-Win Consumption Lottery and Win-Win Payback. The main programs hosted by each ministry can be quickly accessed through the "Main Event Details" menu.
The "Discounted Products by Category" page provides detailed information on discounts and sales events for key products such as automobiles, home appliances, daily necessities, fashion and clothing, seafood, livestock products, accommodation, cultural and leisure activities, and special online shopping events for small business owners.
All information about major consumer promotion events-including discounts on local gift certificates, digital Onnuri gift certificate refunds and discounts, the Win-Win Consumption Lottery and Win-Win Payback, credit card company benefits, and public and private delivery app events-can be found and participated in through the "Key Benefits at a Glance" menu. In addition, more than 40 different consumer festival events held in 16 cities and provinces nationwide can be quickly checked for their duration, location, and details through the "Special Regional Events" infographic.
Through the official KakaoTalk channel ("Korea Grand Festival"), the public can receive real-time, personalized notifications about events and programs of interest via KakaoTalk alerts.
Lee Daegun, Director of Small Business Policy at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, stated, "By bringing together information on consumer events by ministry, region, and product category into one comprehensive platform, we have created an official communication channel that allows the public to see at a glance what events are taking place, when, and where. This is highly significant, and we ask for active participation from the public in this nationwide consumer festival."
