IBK Investment & Securities Launches Open Recruitment for 2025 College and High School Graduates

Double-Digit Hiring Every Year Except During the Pandemic

IBK Investment & Securities (CEO Seo Jeonghak) is launching an open recruitment drive for new employees to create jobs for young people and discover new talent.


On October 23, IBK Investment & Securities announced that it will conduct open recruitment for new college and high school graduates for 2025, with applications accepted until November 3.

The recruitment areas include: ▲Head Office Sales ▲Head Office Operations ▲Branch Sales (Private Banker) ▲Branch Support (Private Banker Assistant), with the total number of hires expected to be in the double digits. Since its establishment in 2008, IBK Investment & Securities has consistently conducted open recruitment on a double-digit scale every year, except during the COVID-19 period.


The recruitment process for new college graduates consists of a document screening, written test, competency assessment, and first and second interviews. To hire outstanding talent based on competency, IBK Investment & Securities has introduced an artificial intelligence (AI) competency assessment in the competency evaluation stage for the first time this year. The AI competency assessment uses big data to evaluate applicants' job-related abilities.


A two-day, one-night group interview will also be held. Although this group interview format requires significant time and cost for the company, unlike short interviews, it allows candidates to fully demonstrate their abilities during the process.


To ensure fair recruitment, IBK Investment & Securities has adopted a blind recruitment system, which does not disclose applicants' educational background, gender, or age.


Applications for high school graduates will be accepted until midnight on October 26, while applications for college graduates will be accepted until 11 a.m. on November 3 through the IBK Investment & Securities recruitment website. Successful high school graduate candidates are expected to join the company in November 2024, while successful college graduate candidates are scheduled to start in January 2025. Newly hired employees will undergo a three-month probationary period, including orientation and on-the-job training, after which they will be hired as regular employees based on evaluations for each stage.
