KORMARINE 2025 is an international event showcasing cutting-edge technologies that will shape the future of the global marine industry, including marine plants, eco-friendly ships, smart ports, and marine energy. This year, more than 1,000 companies from over 40 countries are participating to demonstrate their technological competitiveness. The authority is using this arena of technological competition to highlight how the Busan-Jinhae region is evolving beyond a simple industrial site into a testbed where marine technologies can be demonstrated and commercialized.

During the exhibition, the authority is operating a promotional booth (1B52) and conducting one-on-one customized investment consultations, particularly in the fields of smart ports and digital manufacturing. It is also introducing incentive programs and competitive site conditions for foreign-invested companies. Through the success stories of resident companies such as Panasia, Bosch Rexroth Korea, and Halla IMS, which are also participating in the exhibition, the authority plans to showcase the tangible business achievements and the vibrant industrial ecosystem of the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone.

For general visitors, the authority aims to raise awareness and brand value of the zone through public relations activities such as SNS subscription events and the distribution of promotional materials from resident companies and the authority itself.

Park Seongho, head of the authority, emphasized, "KORMARINE 2025 is more than just an industrial exhibition; it is a platform where global marine technology companies discuss the future and seek cooperation. Through this exhibition, the authority will provide the optimal environment for both technology demonstration and industrialization, laying the foundation for its leap forward as a global marine industry hub."
