Ulju County in Ulsan will provide free influenza (flu) vaccinations to all residents.
Ulju County will implement the free influenza vaccination program for the 2025-2026 season from October 27, 2025, to April 30, 2026, to protect residents' health and prevent infectious diseases.
This vaccination program will use a trivalent vaccine selected based on recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the review of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
The national free vaccination program covers children aged 6 months to 13 years, pregnant women, and seniors aged 65 or older (born before 1960).
Additionally, as part of local government support, Ulju County has expanded the free vaccination eligibility to include residents aged 14 to 64 (born between January 1, 1961, and December 31, 2011) who are registered in Ulju County.
Vaccinations can be received at 78 designated medical institutions and public health centers within Ulju County. Information on vaccination sites is available on the "Immunization Helper" website or the Ulju County Public Health Center website.
When receiving the vaccination, eligible individuals must bring identification or other documents that can verify their eligibility. Seniors aged 65 or older may also receive the COVID-19 vaccine at the same time.
An official from Ulju County stated, "We are promoting free vaccinations for all residents to reduce medical expenses and create a healthier community," adding, "We hope every resident actively participates in the vaccination program and enjoys a healthy and safe winter."
