Tailored Recruitment Matching for Lawyers
AI-Powered Career Management Features
Comprehensive Support for Professional Development
Including Short-Term Projects and Advisory Roles
A new platform exclusively for legal professionals has been launched, utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to help manage the careers of lawyers and law school students and provide tailored recruitment opportunities. Unlike traditional job boards, this platform offers portfolio-style resumes that visually present a lawyer's specialized experience, allowing hiring organizations to quickly grasp key casework and external activities at a glance.
On October 23, Legal Assistance Co., Ltd. (CEO: Wonhee Cho, Attorney) announced the official launch of the lawyer career platform "LegalCrew."
LegalCrew is a platform exclusively for legal professionals, created with investment from Law Firm DLG and practicing attorneys. CEO Cho, who developed LegalCrew, previously served as a partner attorney at Law Firm Bae, Kim & Lee and is currently the lead attorney at Law Firm DLG.
LegalCrew supports career management, recruitment matching throughout the career lifecycle from law school students to attorneys, expansion of work areas, and practical training. Through its AI-powered personalized assessment function, it evaluates individual career directions and organizational culture fit, introducing a data-driven career matching system. Anyone with a Korean attorney qualification or enrolled in law school in Korea can use the platform for free after verification.
The core feature that sets LegalCrew apart from other recruitment platforms is its portfolio-style resume. This visually organizes a lawyer's key case experience and external activities, enabling hiring organizations to specifically assess practical competencies. It also offers detailed filtering by specialized fields tailored to each lawyer, such as corporate law, civil and criminal law, and intellectual property.
In particular, the platform provides an "Organizational Compatibility Report," which analyzes a lawyer's work style into eight types, allowing organizations to assess collaboration suitability in advance.
Additionally, LegalCrew operates the "Spec-up Service," offering opportunities for lawyers to enhance their expertise through long- and short-term projects, legal counsel, and advisory roles. For organizations seeking to hire lawyers, the platform enables unified management and download of various HR materials needed for personnel management, such as resumes and certification documents.
In July, LegalCrew signed a three-party memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Law School Council (Chairman: Hong Daesik) and Law Times (CEO: Lee Soohyeong) to support lawyer recruitment and promote the development of the legal services market. The agreement includes: ▲ identifying new recruitment demand for lawyers by industry and field ▲ jointly hosting forums on legal market trends and proposing system improvements ▲ developing the lawyer career platform ▲ building career planning programs ▲ cooperating on diversification of non-litigation fields and legal roles.
HR tech specialist DeepLeHR participated as a technology partner in developing the platform. DeepLeHR is a young venture company leading recruitment market efficiency by operating vertical HR platforms such as "Demand" (formerly GochoDaejol.com), a recruitment platform for production and technical positions.
CEO Cho stated, "The current job board-based recruitment structure does not suit the legal market, which requires change and expansion," adding, "It is time for a systematic career management system for lawyers."
He continued, "Lawyers should not be treated as if simply hiring employees, but evaluated and approached as professionals who combine expertise, trust, and responsibility. Through LegalCrew, I hope to build an infrastructure that enables fellow lawyers to systematically develop their own careers."
