Korea University Graduate School of Information Security to Host International Conference on Cybersecurity

To mark the 120th anniversary of its founding, the Graduate School of Information Security at Korea University will host the international academic conference "KU International Conference on Cybersecurity and Privacy 2025" (hereafter KU-ICCSP 2025) at the Choi Jong Hyun Hall in the SK Future Hall on October 27 and 28.

KU-ICCSP 2025 is designed to bring together leading domestic and international universities, research institutes, and experts to examine the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity on society, as well as to build global cooperation networks and enhance research capabilities. To this end, key agenda items will include AI security and safety, ESG and AI safety, cybersecurity and privacy, and ESG and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).


Ambassadors to Korea from more than 15 countries will be in attendance, and former United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will deliver a keynote speech on the topic "The Role of Cybersecurity for the Sustainable Development Goals and ESG."


Main sessions will include the Korea University-Stanford University-Kyoto University Workshop (The Role of Law in the Age of AI), AI Security and Safety, Social and Ethical Implications of Cybersecurity, Aerospace and Maritime Security, and Digital Asset Tracking.
