Six-Week Short-Term Program for Preschoolers and Elementary Students

The National Gwacheon Science Museum, building on the strong response to its fall semester, is launching a new "Winter Semester Individual Regular Education Program" for children and youth.
The museum announced that it will offer winter semester courses for preschoolers and elementary school students every weekend from November 8 to December 14.

This semester, which is being introduced for the first time following the spring, summer, and fall semesters, will be operated as a short-term six-week program, providing additional opportunities for students who were previously unable to enroll due to high competition.
The entire program consists of four areas: Thematic Inquiry, Experimental Inquiry, Creative Inquiry, and Information (Software) Inquiry. There will be a total of 20 courses offered across 40 classes, with each course running for six sessions.
Popular courses such as "Science All Around the House" and "Discover Science in Magic!" are being reopened, while new programs like "Climate Change and the Evolution of Life" and "Seasonal Science: Winter Science Playground" will also be introduced.
Registration can be completed through the National Gwacheon Science Museum's online learning management system starting on October 30 (annual members can register from October 29).
Director Han Hyeongju said, "We are grateful for the continued interest and support, and we hope that many children will experience the joy of science during the winter semester as well."
