"Youth Money Insight" Lectures to Be Held on November 7 and 18
Popular YouTubers Booknam and Park Gomhee to Lead Sessions

Yeongdeungpo District in Seoul (District Mayor Choi Hokwon) is recruiting participants for a special economics lecture series, "Youth Money Insight," aimed at sharing practical asset management strategies to help young people in their daily lives.

This special lecture series will focus on topics of high interest among young adults: "real estate" and "financial asset management." Popular economics YouTubers "Booknam" and "Park Gomhee" will deliver practical and realistic economic knowledge. With 1.63 million and 930,000 subscribers respectively, these two speakers are leading content creators in the field of economics, known for their lectures that explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand way, earning strong support from young audiences.


The first lecture will take place on November 7 at Yeongdeungpo Art Square. Booknam will present on "How Young People Can Buy Their Own Home," introducing practical home-buying strategies focused on the latest real estate trends and promising investment areas for young adults.


The second lecture will be held on November 18 at the Singil 6-dong Community Center, where pension expert Park Gomhee will speak on "Asset Management Methods You Learn Once and Use for a Lifetime." The lecture will cover the concepts of asset management and asset allocation strategies, as well as essential financial accounts such as Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs), and pension savings.


The program is open to young people aged 19 to 39 who live in or are active in Yeongdeungpo District, with 100 participants recruited for each session. Applications can be submitted via the QR code on the poster, and further information is available on the Yeongdeungpo District Office website or the "Yeongdeungpo Youth" Naver Cafe.


Choi Hokwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, "I hope this will be an opportunity for young people to gain the ability to understand the economy and manage their assets," adding, "We will continue to pursue policies that support the challenges and growth of young people."
