Three-Day, Two-Night Program by the National Heritage Administration
Enjoy Small Performances Including Pansori and Gayageum Byeongchang

The National Heritage Administration announced on the 23rd that it will operate an on-site field trip program to experience Korea's famous scenic spots and traditional landscaping from November 6 to 8. The program will be held in collaboration with Shinsegae's travel program, "Local is Shinsegae."
After attending a preliminary orientation on the 27th, participants will embark on a three-day, two-night tour of scenic sites in the Damyang, Gangjin, and Jindo areas of South Jeolla Province. The destinations include Soswaewon in Damyang, Baekryeonsa Temple on Mount Mandeok and Dasan Chodang in Gangjin, and Unrimsanbang in Jindo. At Soswaewon in particular, participants can enjoy small performances such as pansori, gayageum byeongchang, and daegeum sanjo, experiencing both nature and culture together.
Separately, the National Heritage Administration is also operating the "Famous Scenic Spots and Traditional Landscaping Field Trip" for the general public, specialists, and researchers until next month. This program offers opportunities to visit famous scenic sites across the country, such as Yun Seondo Garden on Bogildo, Soswaewon in Damyang, Hyangiram Hermitage on Mount Geumosan in Yeosu, and Suncheonman Bay. Participants can learn about traditional landscapes and their historical backgrounds through expert lectures and traditional performances. Applications can be submitted through the website of the Korean Society of Traditional Landscape Architecture.
