JYP Entertainment announced on October 22 that Twice has become the first K-pop girl group to enter the US Billboard main album chart, the 'Billboard 200,' for the tenth time.
According to Billboard on October 21 (local time), Twice's 10th anniversary special album, 'TEN: The Story Goes On,' released on October 10, ranked 11th on the 'Billboard 200' chart dated October 25. With this achievement, Twice has become the first K-pop girl group to place a total of 10 albums on this chart.
In addition, the original soundtrack (OST) 'Takedown' from the Netflix animation 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' and 'Strategy,' a track from their 14th mini album, have entered the Billboard main singles chart 'Hot 100' for 15 consecutive weeks and 13 consecutive weeks, respectively, as of the October 25 chart. Their fourth full-length album, 'THIS IS FOR,' released in July, has also been on the 'Billboard 200' for 14 consecutive weeks.
The music video for Twice's first English single, 'The Feels,' surpassed 500 million views the previous day. Including 'TT,' 'Likey,' 'What is Love?,' 'FANCY,' 'CHEER UP,' 'I CAN'T STOP ME,' 'Feel Special,' 'Like OOH-AHH,' and now 'The Feels,' the group now has a total of nine music videos with over 500 million views each.
To mark their 10th anniversary, Twice is currently holding a world tour spanning 73 shows across 43 regions worldwide.
