Enhancing Competitiveness in Global Environmental Regulation Compliance
Glassdom, a company specializing in carbon emission data management solutions, announced on the 22nd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the International Sustainable Certification Institute (IGSC) to establish a verification linkage system for the European Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).
The goal of this agreement is to provide data and verification linkage solutions that enable export manufacturers in various industries-including power equipment, automotive composites, electrical and electronic components, and building materials-to efficiently respond to EPD verification requirements.

The EPD is an assessment tool that quantitatively discloses the environmental impact of products and services throughout their entire lifecycle, from raw material extraction to production, transportation, distribution, use, and disposal. It helps consumers and companies compare and select eco-friendly products.
Through this MOU, Glassdom will provide technical solutions such as on-site data management systems, carbon emission calculations, LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) input data integration, and automated reporting features. IGSC will be responsible for establishing verification standards, document review, and issuing certifications. In the medium to long term, the two companies plan to jointly develop an integrated data and verification model and offer linked solutions to help domestic companies comply with EU EPD regulations and strengthen their ESG competitiveness.
