This program, launched for the first time this year with support from Goryeong County, was established to alleviate anxiety for expectant mothers during pregnancy and childbirth, and to help ensure the health and emotional stability of newborns.
The 'Open Mom Pregnancy and Childbirth Support Project' is a customized care initiative that allows marriage immigrants and foreign mothers to use the 'Mom Coach' service from pregnancy until 24 months after childbirth.
The 'Mom Coach' service is provided by marriage immigrants who have completed specialized training, offering emotional support and practical assistance tailored to each stage of pregnancy and childbirth.
This round of childbirth supply support was provided to nine families in the area. The mothers responded positively, noting not only physical recovery but also emotional stability as a result.
A representative from the Goryeong County Family Center stated, "Pregnancy and childbirth are the most important starting points for a family, so we will continue to provide various forms of support to create an environment where mothers can raise their children with peace of mind."
