According to Seo-gu on October 22, this training will be divided into four areas-Pungam, Dongcheon, Kumho 2, and Chipyeong-dong-and will focus on strengthening the organizational foundation of the merchants association, as well as providing consulting on participation in public contest projects.

The lectures will be led by Park Cheol, Director of the Korea Social Economy Culture Research Institute, and will focus on practical topics such as merchants association organization management and strategies for revitalizing meetings, member management, and know-how for being selected in public contest projects.

In addition, the training will enhance the practical competitiveness of the merchants association by sharing the policy direction of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service, introducing Seo-gu's alley economy revitalization projects, and presenting outstanding cases from other regions.

In particular, in preparation for public contest projects promoted by the central government and local governments, the program will include analysis of actual selected business proposals and hands-on practice in preparing documents, thereby further strengthening the practical capabilities of the merchants association.

Seo-gu Mayor Kim Ikang stated, "It is essential for the merchants association to build practical capabilities in order to grow as an autonomous and sustainable organization," adding, "We will actively support the independence and growth of the merchants association as the main entity responsible for the alley commercial district."

Meanwhile, after designating the entire district as an alley-type shopping district on June 30, Seo-gu has been strengthening on-site support for alley commercial districts by launching the 'Alley Economy 119 Phone' and operating the 'Alley Office' in each neighborhood one to two times a week to enhance the effectiveness of its policies.
