Kim Jeongsu ENT Clinic and Yuga Jeil Union Clinic Selected
The Daegu Regional Veterans Office (Director Kim Jongsul) will hold a "Plaque Ceremony for Excellent Commissioned Hospitals" for Kim Jeongsu ENT Clinic (Buk-gu) and Yuga Jeil Union Clinic (Dalseong-gun), both selected as excellent veterans commissioned hospitals for 2025.
The plaque ceremony was first held at Kim Jeongsu ENT Clinic on October 21, and will also take place at Yuga Jeil Union Clinic on October 31.

The veterans commissioned hospital system is a program in which the government entrusts medical services to private medical institutions so that veterans who live in areas without veterans hospitals, or with limited access to them, can receive medical care.
As of October 1, 2025, a total of 938 commissioned hospitals have been designated and are operating nationwide.
The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs is operating the "Excellent Veterans Commissioned Hospital Certification System" to improve the quality and satisfaction of medical services.
The selected institutions receive a certificate and a plaque, as well as benefits such as a two-year exemption from the medical service adequacy evaluation and promotional support. The certification is valid for two years.
The evaluation is conducted through a first and second round of assessments and expert review, based on nine criteria including the level of medical services, adequacy of treatment, and user satisfaction.
In this evaluation, two out of 38 commissioned hospitals in the Daegu region were finally selected as excellent institutions.
Kim Jongsul, Director of the Daegu Regional Veterans Office, said, "Congratulations to the two institutions certified as third-term excellent veterans commissioned hospitals," and added, "Please continue to work together so that veterans and their families can receive better medical services."
