On the 22nd, Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to be mostly cloudy with a large temperature difference between day and night.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be affected by a cold continental high-pressure system expanding from northern China. In the afternoon, some areas may see less than 0.1 millimeters of raindrops. Morning lows are forecast to range from 7 to 14 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 18 to 23 degrees Celsius.
Waves in the seas off the west and south coasts are expected to reach up to 2 meters, while ultrafine dust concentrations are forecast to be at a 'moderate' level in the morning and improve to a 'good' level from the afternoon.
An official from the Meteorological Administration advised, "Until the morning, fog with visibility less than 1 kilometer may form, especially in inland areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam. Please reduce speed when driving and take precautions to prevent collisions and other accidents."
