First Korean VC Recognized for CLO Virtual Fashion Investment
Korean Startups and VCs Gain Attention in the Asian Market
Atinum Investment, a domestic venture capital (VC) firm, has been shortlisted as a final nominee in the 'Exit of the Year Small Cap' category at the 'AVCJ Private Equity & Venture Capital Awards 2025,' the most prestigious private equity (PE) and VC awards ceremony in Asia. This marks the first time a Korean VC has been named a final nominee in the exit category at the AVCJ Awards, drawing significant attention from the industry.
Atinum Investment was selected as a nominee in recognition of its investment in and successful exit from CLO Virtual Fashion, a 3D digital fashion solution company. Competing in this category alongside Atinum Investment are major investment firms from the Asia-Pacific region, including Investcorp, Advantage Partners, Potentia Capital, and Allegro Funds.
The AVCJ Awards are regarded as the most prestigious awards in the Asian PE and VC industry. The final winners are determined by combining the evaluations of a panel of industry experts and a public vote by industry professionals, each accounting for 50% of the total score. In particular, the exit category is assessed based on factors such as the scale of capital recovery, return on investment, and strategic achievements.
CLO Virtual Fashion is a 3D fashion software company with subsidiaries in 12 countries worldwide, including New York, London, and Tokyo. The company is rapidly expanding its business not only in fashion but also into the gaming and metaverse industries. Atinum Investment recognized the company’s growth potential early on and made its first investment in 2014.
After 10 years, Atinum Investment achieved an excellent investment outcome with a successful exit in 2024.
