Dong-Eui University (President Han Suhwan) held the "2025 Industry-Academia Cooperation Award (Seokdang Medal)" and the "Outstanding Faculty Award Ceremony for Industry-Academia Cooperation" on the 2nd floor of the main building's conference room on the 21st, honoring faculty members who have achieved outstanding results in industry-academia collaboration.

For the gold medal, two professors-Choi Younghyeon (Department of Korean Medicine) and Moon Inhyeok (Department of Robotics Engineering)-were selected, each receiving the Industry-Academia Cooperation Award and the Seokdang Medal made of 37.5 grams of pure gold as an additional prize.
For the silver medal, seven professors-Kim Iseok (Department of Film Studies), Lee Kyungkyu (Department of Japanese Studies), Yoon Hyekyung (Department of Basic Liberal Arts), Cho Yongjin (Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering), Yoon Jusang (Department of Artificial Intelligence), Kwon Hyunju (Department of Biopharmaceutical Sciences), and Kim Kyungtae (Department of Food Engineering)-were selected, each receiving the Industry-Academia Cooperation Award and the Seokdang Medal made of 26.25 grams of pure silver as an additional prize.
In addition, Park Byungcheol (Department of Automotive Engineering) and Park Hyun (AI Grand ICT Research Center) were chosen as outstanding faculty members in industry-academia cooperation, receiving a presidential citation and a cash prize.
Since 2014, Dong-Eui University has annually selected and awarded professors who have demonstrated exceptional research achievements and whose indirect research expenses from externally commissioned research exceed a certain amount. The medal is named the "Seokdang Medal" in honor of the university's founder, the late Dr. Kim Imsik.
