National Security Office Holds Economic Security Review Meeting on October 20
Relevant Ministries Participate Under the Leadership of Deputy Director Oh Hyunju
"Supply Chain Risks Reviewed, Ministries to Cooperate Closely"
The National Security Office reviewed recent economic security conditions and supply chain risk factors on October 20.
The Presidential Office announced that the National Security Office held an interagency meeting on this day to assess changes in the geopolitical environment and diagnose economic security conditions, as well as to examine their domestic impact.
The meeting was presided over by Oh Hyunju, Deputy Director for Security Affairs 3 at the National Security Office. Relevant ministries included the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.
The Presidential Office explained, "Participants at the meeting thoroughly examined risk factors in our supply chain and other areas arising from changes in economic security conditions. The relevant ministries agreed to closely cooperate to minimize the negative impact of various risks on Korean companies."
