KOZ Entertainment, a HYBE label, announced on October 20 that the group Boys Next Door will release their fifth mini album, "The Action."
On this day at 6 p.m., Boys Next Door will release the new album's tracks and the music video for the title track "Hollywood Action." This album delivers a message of determination for growth and the pursuit of a "better self."
The lyrics, written by the members themselves, express the pain of creation ("Live In Paris"), musical exchanges with friends ("JAM!"), confusion in romantic relationships ("Bathroom"), and the moment leading to a breakup ("You Know"), each conveyed through songs with distinct moods.
The title track "Hollywood Action" features credits from Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Woonhak, and Lee Han, showcasing a bold attitude and unrestrained confidence. The upbeat song is built on swing rhythms and brass sounds, with direct lyrics and the members' energetic performances. Choreographer Bada contributed to the performance.
Boys Next Door will hold a comeback showcase at 8 p.m. at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, and will appear on Mnet's "M Countdown" on October 23.
Meanwhile, Boys Next Door achieved consecutive million-seller status with their third mini album "19.99" and fourth mini album "No Genre." All of their previous mini albums entered the main album chart "Billboard 200" in the United States. After completing their first solo tour with 23 shows across three cities, they also performed on the stage of "Lollapalooza Chicago."
