Achieves 'Wire-to-Wire' Victory for 13th Career LPGA Title

Kim Se-Young, who hails from Yeongam, Jeollanam-do, claimed the championship trophy at a U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour event held in Korea for the first time in five years.
On October 19, at Pine Beach Golf Links (par 72, 6,785 yards) in Haenam County, Jeollanam-do, Kim Se-Young recorded six birdies and one bogey in the fourth round of the LPGA Tour BMW Ladies Championship (total prize money: 2.3 million dollars), finishing with a final total of 24-under-par 264 strokes. She secured victory over Japan's Nasa Hataoka, who finished second with 20-under-par 268 strokes.
Kim Se-Young took the lead from the very first round and never relinquished her position, achieving a wire-to-wire victory. She also earned the winner's prize of 345,000 dollars (approximately 492 million won).
This marks Kim Se-Young's 13th career victory on the LPGA Tour and her first win since the Pelican Championship in November 2020, nearly five years ago.
Prior to the tournament, Kim Se-Young drew attention by promising, "I will give my hometown fans the gift of a victory."
