Hanam City Confirms Live Broadcast of Sold-Out "K-POP Dance Challenge"

It is too soon to be disappointed about not securing a ticket. The spectacular finale of the "2025 Global K-POP Dance Challenge in Hanam," which sold out all 750 seats immediately after ticket sales opened, will be broadcast live throughout Hanam City on October 23.

On October 19, Hanam City in Gyeonggi Province announced that the "Dance Performance Concert," held at the Hanam Arts Center Grand Theater, will be streamed simultaneously on the city’s official YouTube channel and on major screens throughout the city, turning the entire city into a "front-row" audience.

This decision goes beyond simply broadcasting a performance. Hanam City aims to share the electrifying atmosphere of K-POP unfolding in the heart of the city with all citizens in real time, presenting a new culture of viewing where anyone can become the star of the festival, regardless of time or place.

Accordingly, at 7:30 p.m. on the day of the event, major venues in Hanam-including Hanam Youth Center, Gam-il and Deokpung Youth Culture Houses, and the auditoriums of Sinjang and Wirye Libraries-will transform into "sanctuaries of group viewing," where audiences can enjoy performances by world-class dancers together.

This concert, which proved the explosive popularity of K-POP fans by selling out all 750 seats as soon as ticket sales began, will now expand its scale under the full support of Hanam City, becoming a historic stage shared with tens of thousands of spectators.

Lee Hyunjae, Mayor of Hanam City, emphasized, "This simultaneous live broadcast is part of the process of building the vision of Hanam as a 'global hub of performance culture' together with our citizens," and added, "On the evening of the 23rd, wherever you are in Hanam, I hope you pause for a moment to enjoy a special moment united by the passion of K-POP."

Meanwhile, the "Dance Performance Concert," which will be broadcast live, marks the grand finale of the "2025 Global K-POP Dance Challenge in Hanam," hosted by the Hanam Cultural Foundation. This festival will invite 20 teams of world-class K-POP dance influencers, who lead a global fandom totaling 70 million, and will run for three days starting October 21. On October 21 and 22, the influencers will film dance films at Hanam’s landmarks such as Misa Lake Park, Dangjeong Field, and Union Tower to showcase the city’s charm to the world, culminating in the grand concert on the 23rd.
