Souvenirs for the First 200 Participants
Yongsan-gu in Seoul (District Mayor Park Heeyoung) will operate the "Yongsan Pang Pang! Stamp Pang Pang! 2025 Yongsan-gu Tourist Attraction Mobile Stamp Tour" from October 20 to December 31, 2025.
This program is an interactive tourism event where visitors can use their smartphones or tablets to visit Yongsan’s representative attractions in person and collect stamps via a GPS-based mobile electronic map.
The tour covers seven locations: Janggyosukso 5th Complex, Yongsan History Museum, Noksapyeong Square, War Memorial of Korea, Baekbeom Kim Koo Memorial Hall, National Museum of Korea, and Saenamteo Martyrs’ Shrine. These sites have been selected as Yongsan’s major tourist attractions, harmonizing history, culture, and relaxation.
Noksapyeong Square marks the starting point of the Itaewon Special Tourist Zone and serves as an open space in the city where various generations can mingle and relax. The Yongsan History Museum is a specialized museum that documents the modern and contemporary history of the region and Yongsan’s transformation, housed in the renovated Yongsan Railroad Hospital, which is a nationally registered cultural heritage site.
To participate, visitors need to access the "Yongsan Tourism Electronic Map," sign up as a member, and visit at least five out of the seven attractions. Stamps are automatically issued upon GPS verification. The first 200 participants to collect all five stamps and complete a survey will receive a set of eight travel pouches as souvenirs. The "Yongsan Tourism Electronic Map" can be accessed by scanning the QR code on the poster or searching through the Naver portal.
Yongsan-gu aims to expand participation among younger generations and foreign tourists through this mobile stamp tour and to activate digital-based tourism content, thereby strengthening the image of Yongsan as a "modern tourism city."
Park Heeyoung, Mayor of Yongsan-gu, stated, “The mobile stamp tour is a program that anyone can easily join, offering a great opportunity to explore various corners of Yongsan and create enjoyable memories with family or friends. We will continue to do our best to widely promote the district’s rich and attractive tourism resources so that more people will visit Yongsan in the future.”
