46 Temporary Munhwa Nuri Card Merchants to Operate During Festival
Reducing Cultural Disparities for Low-Income Groups... Expected to Improve Welfare
Hwasun County in South Jeolla Province announced that it will operate 46 temporary affiliated merchants where payments can be made using the Integrated Culture Voucher Card (Munhwa Nuri Card) during the "2025 Hwasun Dolmen Autumn Flower Festival," which will be held for 10 days from October 17 to October 26, 2025.
The Munhwa Nuri Card is a cultural voucher card designed to enhance quality of life and reduce cultural disparities. It provides 140,000 won per person annually to recipients of basic livelihood security and those in the lower-income bracket. The card can be used in areas such as culture and arts, domestic travel, and sports activities.
Normally, the Munhwa Nuri Card cannot be used for food and beverage payments. However, it can be used at temporary affiliated merchants registered during local festival periods.
For this festival, a total of 46 booths have been registered as Munhwa Nuri Card affiliated merchants. Cardholders can make various purchases including food, experiences, and local specialties at merchants displaying the "Munhwa Nuri Card Affiliated Merchant Guide." In addition, the festival admission fee can also be paid using the Munhwa Nuri Card.
Kang Samyoung, head of the county’s Culture and Arts Division, stated, "We hope that using the Munhwa Nuri Card at the Hwasun Dolmen Autumn Flower Festival will allow everyone to enjoy a richer festival experience."
