"Future Welfare Talent, Nurtured by the Community"... Uljin County Holds Governor's Special Meeting

Gyeongbuk Professional College Hosts RISE Regional Welfare Forum
Special Lecture by Governor Son Byungbok: "Our Challenge for the Future"

Uljin County in North Gyeongsang Province held a "Meeting with the Uljin County Governor to Promote Regional Welfare" for students of the Department of Social Welfare at Gyeongbuk Professional College Uljin Campus on October 15.

This event served as an opportunity to promote RISE regional welfare initiatives and strengthen industry-academic cooperation. Attended by more than 80 participants, including faculty members and students of the Department of Social Welfare, the special lecture titled "Our Challenge for the Future" featured Uljin County Governor Son Byungbok, who shared his public service experience and vision, engaging in a wide-ranging discussion with the students.


In particular, the direct dialogue between the governor and students provided a valuable opportunity to deepen understanding of the qualities needed in the local community and the professional demands of the social welfare field. It also served as a meaningful occasion for students to acquire information and expand their personal networks necessary for future employment.


Governor Son Byungbok stated, "I hope that students will grow to become key players in regional welfare," adding, "Uljin County will do its utmost to support and cooperate with educational institutions so that future welfare professionals can develop their capabilities and thrive in the field."
