Hyundai Card Accelerates Its PLCC Strategy
On October 17, Hyundai Card announced that it will hold the 'Playbox' event in collaboration with its PLCC (Private Label Credit Card) partners, Musinsa and CJ Olive Young.
Playbox is Hyundai Card's first reactive campaign designed to engage Generation Z.
This campaign allows participants to collect fashion, beauty, and music items contained in the Playbox, which reflects the identity of the Hyundai Card Boutique. It offers an experience where using a credit card feels like play.
The Playbox is crafted in the boutique's signature colors: copper, velvet, and satin. The copper box is installed at 'Musinsa Store Seongsu@Daelim Warehouse' in Seongsu-dong, Seoul; the satin box at 'Olive Young Central Gangnam Town' near Gangnam Station, Seoul; and the velvet box at 'Hyundai Card Vinyl & Plastic' in Itaewon, Seoul.
Each box contains fashion, beauty, and music items inspired by the stories of three influencers.
The copper box includes a luxury watch that rapper pH-1 gifted to his parents for the first time, while the satin box holds perfume and lip balm from beauty influencer Sia Jiwoo. The velvet box features an Apple iPod Shuffle and wired earphones with a playlist curated by singer and actress Jo Yuri.
When participants tap their card plate on the RFID sticker attached to the Playbox, the box opens. Participants are then required to film themselves discovering the items, tag Hyundai Card's official account, and upload the video to their own Instagram account.
The Playbox and its items will be awarded to three finalists, selected after a review of the submitted videos.

Hyundai Card has promoted more than 3,000 marketing collaborations with 19 partner companies and continues to develop cases of collaboration in various fields, including finance, data science, branding, and design.
