Air Busan Conducts Emergency Drill to Strengthen Industrial Accident Response Capabilities

Raising Employee Safety Awareness and Preventing Industrial Accidents
Company-wide Efforts Continue

Air Busan (CEO Jung Byungsub) is making company-wide efforts to raise safety awareness among employees and prevent industrial accidents.

On October 16, Air Busan conducted an industrial accident emergency response drill at its headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Busan, with employees in attendance. The drill simulated a fire breaking out in the company cafeteria, creating a realistic training environment.

The training focused on strengthening employees' ability to respond to initial fire suppression and rescue operations through practical exercises such as the use of fire extinguishers and emergency escape devices, as well as CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) practice. In addition, employees systematically learned various emergency response procedures in the event of a fire, including promptly reporting to emergency services (119) and activating emergency alarms, using fire extinguishers and indoor fire hydrants, and evacuation protocols.

An Air Busan representative stated, "This drill was organized to enhance employees' practical response capabilities to protect their lives and safety in emergency situations," adding, "We will continue to create a safe working environment where all employees can work with peace of mind through ongoing safety training and inspections."

In his speech marking the 18th anniversary of the company's founding in August, Air Busan CEO Jung Byungsub emphasized the importance of 'industrial safety' as one of the company's core values and has continued company-wide efforts to establish a safety-oriented corporate culture.
