MOU Signed to Strengthen Academic Exchange and Cooperation
Dong-Eui Science University (President Kim Youngdo) recently hosted an international academic exchange meeting in the field of health and medical care, inviting 23 faculty members and students from the Department of Health Sciences at Okayama University in Japan.

This exchange was organized to provide faculty and students from the Department of Health Sciences at Okayama University with an opportunity to visit Dong-Eui Science University, experience its health and medical education environment firsthand, and foster international academic collaboration.
Through tours of the laboratories and practical training rooms in the Departments of Clinical Laboratory Science and Radiological Science, as well as by observing classes, students were able to broaden their field experience. The event also served as an opportunity to strengthen academic exchange and cooperation between the faculty members of both universities.
The event was attended by a total of 23 people, including three faculty members from the Department of Clinical Laboratory Science at Dong-Eui Science University, three faculty members from Okayama University, and 17 students. The program included a welcome address and schedule briefing, a campus tour, a tour of the health-related laboratories and practical training rooms (Departments of Clinical Laboratory Science and Radiological Science), class observation in the Department of Clinical Laboratory Science, and a closing session.
This visit was not limited to a short-term exchange; the possibility of developing into long-term academic exchanges, joint research, and student exchange programs was also discussed. In addition, the Office of International Cooperation at Dong-Eui Science University and the Department of Health Sciences at Okayama University signed a memorandum of understanding to promise ongoing exchange and cooperation.
Kim Youngdo, President of Dong-Eui Science University, stated, "This exchange provided students with a meaningful opportunity to develop a global perspective and experience field-oriented health and medical education. We aim to further develop into a global campus through close cooperation with overseas universities."
The faculty members from the Department of Health Sciences at Okayama University commented, "We were very impressed by the educational environment at Dong-Eui Science University, and it was a valuable experience for our students as well. We hope that the exchange between the two universities will continue to expand in the future."
Dong-Eui Science University is focusing on nurturing global professionals through specialized departments such as engineering, health, and design. The health-related departments, including the Departments of Clinical Laboratory Science and Radiological Science, operate advanced major courses to produce highly qualified professionals. The university is also continuously enhancing its international competitiveness by offering Korean language courses for international students, major-linked education, and global field training programs.
