Jangseong County in Jeonnam announced on October 16 that it has opened a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) experience center, an educational space designed to enhance response skills in emergency situations such as cardiac arrest.


The opening ceremony, held in front of the Jangseong County Public Health Center on the same day, was attended by Jangseong County Mayor Kim Hanjong, Jangseong County Council Chairman Shim Minseop, county council members, heads of related organizations, and about 10 others. During the ceremony, an experiential program for 7-year-old children was conducted.


The experience center is equipped with CPR practice manikins for adults and infants, as well as educational automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Training sessions are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on a reservation basis, and any resident of Jangseong County can participate. Reservations can be made by calling the Pharmaceutical Management Team at the Jangseong County Public Health Center.


Mayor Kim Hanjong stated, "We will continue to expand support for CPR education so that every resident can save precious lives in emergency situations."
