According to the county on October 16, approximately 10,000 people visited the Jindo Dog Theme Park during the holiday period. Visitors enjoyed a variety of programs, including Jindo dog performances, running, and agility competitions, as well as experiences at the Jindo puppy interaction zone and the mini animal farm.
The county plans to continue offering dog sports and educational experience programs at the Jindo Dog Theme Park until December 2025, aiming to promote the excellence and culture of the Jindo dog and to improve public awareness.
Dog sports are held at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays, and at 11 a.m. on weekends and public holidays. The performances showcase the intelligence and agility of the Jindo dog through running and obstacle events, as well as interactive shows with owners. Visitors can also directly interact with and learn about puppies at the Jindo dog learning experience center.
Additionally, the theme park features a mini animal farm and children's playground, providing entertainment and relaxation spaces for families.
An official from the Jindo Dog Livestock Department stated, "Through hands-on content that highlights the outstanding abilities and charm of the Jindo dog, we aim to promote companion animal culture and establish the park as a tourist attraction that visitors will want to return to."
