At Yeomi Gallery Until November 24
The local culture planning exhibition, 'Drawing Happiness, Writing Happiness,' will be held at Yeomi Gallery in Seosan from October 18 to 24. The event will offer a special experience where art and literature come together.
This exhibition will be held in a participatory format, inviting local residents visiting the gallery to take part directly. A variety of related events, including artist meet-and-greets and book talks, will also take place.
The book talk will feature authors Choi Gilsoo and Hong Sooja, who wrote 'I Hope You Are Happy Today as Well.' Choi Gilsoo, responsible for the illustrations, visually expresses the small emotions and moments of everyday life with warm colors. Hong Sooja offers literary empathy by discovering happiness in daily life and recording those moments.
The exhibition is organized under the concept of "The Resonance of Happiness Delivered by Art and Words." The gallery will showcase works that blend Choi Gilsoo's illustrations with Hong Sooja's writings. Visitors will be able to experience both 'visual art' and 'literary art' at the same time. A preview of the 2026 calendar goods, featuring messages of hope and happiness, will also be on display. The exhibition will run until November 24.
