Jinhae-gu Invites You to the "Jinhae Autumn Naval Port Festa" ... Anticipating Local Revitalization

Harbor Festa and Autumn Naval Port Festival Combined
A Rich Array of Cultural and Hands-On Programs

Jinhae-gu, a district of Changwon Special City in South Gyeongsang Province, will host the '2025 Jinhae Autumn Naval Port Festa' over two days from October 24 to 25 along Jungwondong-ro in Jinhae.

This event will combine the existing 'Jinhae Harbor Festa' and 'Jinhae Autumn Naval Port Festival,' offering an even richer lineup of programs and content.

The Jinhae Autumn Naval Port Festa aims to shed new light on Jinhae's heritage as a naval port city, filling the event with a variety of performances and hands-on activities that capture the autumn atmosphere of Jinhae.

In particular, the opening ceremony on the 24th will feature a performance by the Navy Education Command's military band as the first act, followed by popular musicians such as Dickpunks, adding to the excitement of the festival.

The festival grounds will also include various flea markets, local cultural experience booths, and a parade featuring marching bands and large puppet shows, all designed to enhance the satisfaction of both residents and visitors.

Jung Hyunseop, head of Jinhae-gu District Office, stated, "This event is expected to create synergy by linking local events and to showcase the diverse autumn of Jinhae to our citizens. I hope many people will visit the Jinhae Autumn Naval Port Festa, where the charm of the naval port city shines, and I will continue to work for the development and revitalization of Jinhae."

Previously, the 'Jinhae Harbor Festa' was organized by the Changwon City Commercial Area Revitalization Foundation as an event to boost the original downtown area of Jinhae, and was held in the Hwacheon Shopping District in 2024.

The 'Jinhae Autumn Naval Port Festival,' organized by the Changwon City Urban Regeneration Support Center, has become a resident-led daily cultural festival centered on the modern historical assets and culture around Jinhae Station.

Recognizing that the two events are held in adjacent locations and at similar times, the Jinhae-gu District Office decided to link them together this year and host a combined event.
