Strengthening Policy Understanding and On-Site Response Capabilities Ahead of Full Implementation in March Next Year
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) will hold the "Student-Centered Integrated Support Capacity-Building Training for School Administrators" a total of four times at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on October 17 and 24 at the auditorium of the Busan Education Research and Information Institute, targeting approximately 1,200 school administrators.
This training has been organized to enhance understanding of policies at the school level and to effectively establish a student-centered integrated support system, in preparation for the full implementation of the "Student-Centered Integrated Support Act" in March next year.
"Student-Centered Integrated Support" is an integrated support system that aims to promote students' holistic growth and improve their right to education by comprehensively addressing various issues such as economic, psychological, and emotional difficulties, as well as school violence, and by providing early assistance to students who require complex support.
During the training, Lim Jongseon, principal of Daedong High School, will give a lecture on the topic of "Transitioning to Student-Centered Integrated Support Policies." Principal Lim will present practical support models, focusing on operational case studies from schools, policy directions, and strategies for system establishment.
Superintendent Kim Seokjun stated, "Student-centered integrated support is a core policy for building an integrated support system that leaves no student behind," adding, "I hope this training will enhance school administrators' understanding and capabilities, serving as an opportunity to spread a student-centered support culture."
