Leading the Spread of Integrity, Safety, and Environmental Policies
On October 15, Seoul Energy Corporation (President Hwang Boyeon) presented the results of its proactive safety management measures for photovoltaic facilities in preparation for autumn typhoons at the "6th Policy Seminar on Integrity, Safety, and Environmental Fields" held at the Seoul Metro headquarters. Through this event, the corporation took the lead in spreading safety management policies among public institutions and establishing a culture of integrity.

This seminar was jointly hosted by the Integrity Council of five public institutions in the Seoul area. It was organized to share the achievements of inter-agency cooperation and explore future directions for development in the fields of integrity, safety, and the environment.
The Integrity Council was voluntarily established in 2020 through an agreement among Seoul Energy Corporation, Seoul Metro, Korea Energy Agency Seoul Regional Headquarters, Korea Electrical Safety Corporation Seoul Regional Headquarters, and Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation. The council has consistently promoted various joint initiatives to strengthen integrity, safety, and environmental management.
The seminar featured outstanding policy cases from each institution on topics such as ethical and human rights management, eradicating abusive practices, achieving carbon neutrality, and enhancing community safety. Each organization reaffirmed its commitment to joint action in realizing the social value of public institutions.
At the event, Seoul Energy Corporation presented its "Safety Management Measures for Photovoltaic Facilities in Preparation for Autumn Typhoons," sharing the results of facility inspections and preventive actions against typhoons. Seoul Metro introduced its response to electricity rate increases and energy-saving measures, Korea Energy Agency Seoul Regional Headquarters shared a case of a Seoul-style zero-capital carbon reduction project, and Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation introduced examples of building zero-energy apartments and promoting photovoltaic projects.
A representative from Seoul Energy Corporation stated, "In this era of climate crisis, integrity, safety, and the environment are core values for public institutions. We will continue to strengthen cooperation among institutions and consistently pursue safe and clean energy policies that citizens can truly experience."
