There has been public outrage after a story emerged about a customer who, after dining at a barbecue restaurant, left behind various types of trash-including their child's used diaper.

On October 12, a post was shared in the self-employed business owners' community "Because It Hurts, It's the Boss," detailing the experience of an informant who runs a barbecue restaurant in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The informant explained that, since the restaurant is located in a new town, many customers come with children, and it is common for guests to bring strollers inside.

The informant stated, "I can understand when people bring snacks for their children during their meal, or when they leave behind a reasonable amount of trash after wiping their children's mouths." However, the informant expressed frustration, saying, "This time, they left all kinds of trash, including a diaper, right on the table. It's truly unbelievable."

In the photo shared by the informant, numerous snack wrappers-presumably from the child's snacks-are scattered next to the grill on the table. Among the used wet wipes and empty drink containers, a diaper believed to belong to the child can also be seen.

The informant added, "The staff are having a very hard time. I hope young couples will not make things so difficult for small business owners."

Other self-employed business owners who heard the story mostly expressed sympathy. Comments included, "I've even seen people wash their babies in the sink," "This is why kid-free zones are created," and "Is raising a child some kind of privilege?"
