On October 15, Samsung Electronics introduced two new features to Samsung Wallet: its own rechargeable easy payment service called "Samsung Wallet Money," and a rewards accumulation program named "Samsung Wallet Points."

Samsung Wallet Money is a mobile payment method that does not require a physical card. Users can easily recharge and use it by linking their existing bank accounts to Samsung Wallet Money.

There are no fees for recharging from linked accounts or for deposits and withdrawals at Woori Bank ATMs, and up to 10 account transfers per month are provided free of charge.

Samsung Wallet Points is a rewards service that automatically accumulates points every time a payment is made with Samsung Wallet Money. A certain amount of points is earned with each transaction, and customers can use the accumulated points for future payments.

The two services were jointly developed with Woori Bank, which has been entrusted with the operation and management of the system.

To provide users with a variety of benefits and rewards, Samsung Electronics has also added a "Benefits Tab" within the Samsung Wallet app.

Samsung Wallet Money users can earn points through the Benefits Tab by checking in daily, participating in payment stamp events, or watching reward-based advertisements. In addition, when purchasing products via the "Gift" feature in the Benefits Tab using Samsung Wallet Money, up to 6.5% of the payment amount is credited back as points.

The Gift feature allows users to conveniently purchase and send a variety of gifticons and mobile vouchers, such as coffee coupons and convenience store gift certificates, to acquaintances.
