A Total of 15 Million Won in Business Development Support Funds
Consulting Provided to Excellence Award Winners and Above
The Small Enterprise and Market Service announced on the 16th that, together with Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO), it held an award ceremony for the 'Small Enterprise 365-Onbid' essay contest at the Busan International Finance Center (BIFC).
This contest was organized to commemorate the integration of the Small Enterprise 365 service with KAMCO's Onbid platform, aiming to discover and share stories of small business owners who succeeded in starting their businesses by utilizing both platforms. Out of 120 entries submitted by last month, a total of 19 winners were selected-including one Grand Prize, two Excellence Awards, and six Merit Awards-based on criteria such as relevance to the theme and empathy, as evaluated by both internal and external judges.
The Grand Prize was awarded to the entry titled "The Second Opportunity Opened by Onbid and Small Enterprise 365," which demonstrated effective use of Small Enterprise 365 and Onbid in launching a business. The winner, who had previously failed at starting a cafe, analyzed commercial district data such as foot traffic, competition, and sales using Small Enterprise 365 to select a location, and then successfully won a lease for a store with favorable terms through Onbid, rekindling hope for a new start.
The winners will receive a total of 15 million won in business development support funds. Participants who received a Merit Award or higher will also be provided with 'commercial district analysis consulting.'
Park Sunghyo, Chairman of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, stated, "We will continue to spread successful cases from the field and provide ongoing support for entrepreneurship using data."
