Active Promotion Planned for the 2026 Sacheon Airshow
Sacheon City in South Gyeongsang Province will participate in 'Seoul ADEX 2025,' the nation’s largest trade exhibition specializing in aerospace and defense, which will be held at Seoul Airport and KINTEX from October 17 to 24. The city aims to support exports for local space and aerospace companies and promote the '2026 Sacheon Airshow.'
During the exhibition, Sacheon City will operate the 'Sacheon Airshow Promotion Hall' at Seoul Airport and the 'Sacheon Pavilion' at KINTEX. From October 17 to 19, the promotion hall at Seoul Airport will cover 25 square meters and feature events using official social media channels, as well as word puzzle quizzes. In addition, promotional leaflets and souvenirs for the Sacheon Airshow will be distributed to actively promote the '2026 Sacheon Airshow.'
From October 20 to 24, the Sacheon Pavilion will be set up at KINTEX in Ilsan, covering 100 square meters. Seven companies will participate in the pavilion: Mirae Aviation, CNRI, AST, Yulgok, CAF Micro, Korea Nonferrous Metals, and Korea Aviation Service.
Through the operation of the Sacheon Pavilion, the city will provide tailored export consultations to facilitate active exchanges between participating local companies and overseas buyers and institutions. This initiative aims to expand export channels for local businesses and actively support the establishment of a global network.
Furthermore, the city will focus on promoting the '2026 Sacheon Airshow,' which is being expanded into an industrial exhibition, and plans to widely publicize Sacheon’s status as a growing hub for the aerospace industry both domestically and internationally.
Additionally, five companies-GV Engineering (Yeonhap Precision), Korea Composite Materials (Korea Carbon), Aeromaster, Kencoa Aerospace, and Korea Aerospace Industries-will participate in independent booths to showcase their technologies and products.
Meanwhile, the city also operated the Sacheon Pavilion at 'Seoul ADEX 2023,' achieving 111 B2B and 14 B2G business results during the event.
Mayor Park Dongsik stated, "Through our participation in 'Seoul ADEX 2025,' we hope that local space and aerospace companies will secure a variety of business opportunities and further enhance their competitiveness in the global market."
He added, "At the city level, we will spare no effort in providing multifaceted support for the sustainable growth of our companies, and we will thoroughly prepare for the expanded '2026 Sacheon Airshow' to ensure its success as an industrial exhibition."
