The city plans to newly install a 4.3-kilometer sewage pipeline in Jinyeong Daejingyo Village to prevent pollution of rivers and farmland and to improve the living environment for residents.

In the Jangyu District, old and deteriorated pipelines will be replaced with new ones to resolve issues of sewage leakage and inefficient treatment, thereby reducing inconvenience for citizens.

In the Bonggokcheon basin, efforts will focus on resolving sewage outflow and odor problems to improve water quality and enhance the comfort of the area.

Fall prevention facilities will be installed at major regional manholes, with particular attention paid to accident prevention.

The city also plans to contribute to revitalizing the local economy by actively utilizing local companies and workforce during construction and maintenance processes, thereby creating jobs and generating a virtuous economic cycle in the region.

Park Changgeun, Director of Gimhae City's Water and Sewerage Office, stated, "Ensuring residents' safety and improving the environment are the city's top priorities," adding, "We will carry out the projects without delay based on the secured national funding."
