Practical Training on Purchasing Management for Corporate Management
On October 15, the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman: Yoon Jaeho) held a "Practical Training on Purchasing Management for Corporate Management" in the main conference room on the first floor of the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with 30 executives and employees in charge of purchasing management in attendance.
This training was organized to enhance understanding of overall purchasing management in companies and to strengthen practical capabilities for efficient supplier management. The lecture was conducted by Professor Mok Jinhwan, a supervising professor for purchasing managers.
Professor Mok Jinhwan led the training by focusing on key topics such as the importance of purchasing management and the purchasing process, practical negotiation and contract procedures, the concept of purchasing costs and methods for price determination, and effective supplier management strategies. He provided real-world examples to help participants gain a field-oriented understanding.
Shim Kyujeong, team leader at the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, "I hope this training enables corporate practitioners to clearly understand the core procedures of purchasing management and to develop practical skills that can be immediately applied in actual business operations. We will continue to expand various job training programs that help enhance the work efficiency of our member companies."
