BHI to Strengthen Social Contribution Activities: "Growing Together with the Local Community"

BHI announced on October 15 that it plans to continuously expand and diversify its social contribution activities in line with the strengthening of global ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management trends.

The company explained that it will strengthen its role as a "company growing together with the local community" by contributing to regional development and establishing a mutually beneficial cooperation system to fulfill its corporate social responsibility.

In practice, BHI has been steadily operating a variety of in-house social contribution programs such as Arananum, Bisamo, an in-house donation box, and sponsorship projects for the Children's Foundation. Through these initiatives, the company is taking the lead in spreading a "corporate culture of sharing love" by providing a minimum social safety net for neighbors experiencing financial hardship.

The in-house volunteer group "Arananum" consists of employees who voluntarily participate to raise social contribution funds and support low-income families with living expenses and school uniforms, thereby working to enhance local social welfare. Another social contribution organization, "Bisamo," is a volunteer group that includes not only employees but also their families, promoting family-based social contribution activities.

It is widely known that as corporate social contribution activities become more active, various positive effects occur, such as enhancing corporate credibility and brand reputation, mitigating social risks, attracting investment, and improving ESG evaluation indicators.
