Chuncheon City (Mayor Yuk Donghan) will hold a short-form video contest from October 15 to November 5. The theme is "Stories of Chuncheon City's Hometown Love Donation System Expressed through AI." Anyone interested in Chuncheon City's Hometown Love Donation System is eligible to participate.
Participants are required to create videos covering various aspects such as the purpose of the Hometown Love Donation System, return gifts, and tax deductions. After uploading the video to their personal accounts on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, or Naver, they must submit an application via email.
Entries that do not meet the contest requirements will be excluded from judging. Prizes will be awarded as follows: Grand Prize of 500,000 won (1 winner), Excellence Award of 200,000 won (1 winner), and Encouragement Award of 100,000 won (3 winners). The winners will be announced in early December, and the winning entries will be posted on the city's official social media channels.
A Chuncheon City official stated, "We have prepared an AI-focused contest to keep pace with the rapidly evolving landscape of online content," adding, "We hope this will be an opportunity for imaginative ideas to be realized through generative AI and shared with a wider audience."
