Inno-Biz Association Holds 4th Regular Board Meeting and Executive Workshop

Discussing Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration at the Jecheon Herbal Expo

The Inno-Biz Association announced on the 15th that it held the '4th Regular Board Meeting of 2025 and Second Half Executive Workshop' in Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province, for two days starting from the 14th.


This event, held in conjunction with the Jecheon International Herbal and Natural Products Industry Expo, focused on sharing the status of major projects for the second half of the year and the association's operational plans. It also prioritized driving company-centered policy initiatives and identifying practical agendas. Key figures in attendance included Chairman Jung Kwangcheon of the Inno-Biz Association, North Chungcheong Province Governor Kim Younghwan, Jecheon Mayor Kim Changgyu, North Chungcheong Provincial Council Chairman Lee Yangseop, and Jecheon City Council Chairman Park Younggi.

During this board meeting, the association appointed three new executives. Kim Bonghyeon, CEO of Jeju Wellbeing Agricultural Cooperative Corporation, was named ex officio vice president, while Kim Changil, CEO of IG, and Lee Jiwoon, CEO of STN, were appointed as directors. As of October, the association's executive team now consists of a total of 110 members.


After the board meeting, the association's executive team explored ways to collaborate within the regional industrial ecosystem centered on the natural products and bio industries by touring the Jecheon International Herbal and Natural Products Industry Expo together. Participants visited exhibition booths such as the Inno-Biz Corporate Pavilion and discussed ways to strengthen industry-academia-research networks.


Chairman Jung Kwangcheon stated, "This event was organized to promote member companies' technologies and products at the regional level and to foster connections among industry, academia, and research institutions," adding, "We will continue to leverage regional networks to support the sustainable growth of our member companies."
