Quadruple Coating Patent Technology Applied
Ildong Pharmaceutical announced on October 14 that it will introduce a new line of functional probiotics called the "Hylacto Series."
The new products are available in two versions: "Hylacto Double Action" and "Hylacto Triple Care." According to the company, the product attributes, such as the strains used, were differentiated based on the Bristol Stool Scale, which classifies stool types by shape and consistency.
Hylacto Double Action is a synbiotic product that contains not only probiotics but also prebiotics, which serve as food for probiotics. It includes six types of probiotics that may help support gut health and promote regular bowel movements, as well as lactulose powder, which can help increase beneficial bacteria and suppress harmful bacteria. The product is packaged in individual stick-type pouches for convenient, tasty daily consumption, with a yogurt flavor added.
Hylacto Triple Care is a triple-functional product containing seven types of probiotics, zinc for normal immune function, and vitamin D for bone formation and maintenance. For ease of consumption, it comes in capsule form and uses aluminum PTP packaging, which offers hygiene and storage benefits.
A representative from Ildong Pharmaceutical stated, "The Hylacto Series uses lactic acid bacteria derived from Koreans to suit the needs of people in Korea. We have also applied a quadruple coating technology to enhance the survival rate of probiotics and ensure they reach the intestines intact."
He added, "Taking into account individual gut health conditions, we plan to continuously expand our customized product lineup in connection with our existing probiotics products, such as Lacto Gold Premium and Saengsaeng Premium 10 Billion Probiotics."
