This represents a high pass rate of 91.7% and is being recognized as a model case for nurturing local talent by enhancing the job skills of local residents and contributing to the supply of skilled workers in the construction industry.
This program was planned by the Goseong County Urban Regeneration Support Center as part of the Ohori Our Neighborhood Revitalization Project's home repair education aimed at improving residential conditions. From July 16 to August 27, 2025 (over seven sessions), the course focused on practical, hands-on training every Wednesday, helping participants acquire real-world construction skills and boost their competitiveness for employment and entrepreneurship.
Goseong County Governor Ham Myungjun stated, "This achievement is the result of the passion of local residents combined with the systematic education provided by the Urban Regeneration Support Center," adding, "We plan to further expand various vocational education programs to revitalize the local economy and create more jobs."
Meanwhile, building on this success, Goseong County plans to continue offering home repair and other national technical qualification-related training to promote the economic self-reliance of local residents and the development of local industries.
