Signalman in His 70s Dies After Being Hit by Reversing Forklift at Changwon Manufacturing Plant

At around 1:55 p.m. on October 13, a man in his 70s, identified as Mr. A, who was working as a signalman at a manufacturing plant in Seongsan-gu, Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, was struck by a reversing forklift.

An employee of the company urgently called emergency services, but Mr. A, who was severely injured, died at the scene.

The police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident, questioning the forklift driver, a man in his 50s identified as Mr. B, as well as other personnel at the site.
