Residential complexes known as "triple school zones," where elementary, middle, and high schools are all within walking distance, are gaining attention in the real estate market. These triple school zones not only reduce the burden of commuting for children but also often feature a fully developed infrastructure with various lifestyle and cultural facilities, making them especially attractive to end users. The potential for a price premium after moving in is also emerging as an appealing advantage.
Interest is rapidly increasing in "Jeju ELIF Aewol," an apartment and officetel complex in the Aewol area that boasts access to prestigious school districts.
A representative from the sales team stated, "With Aewol Elementary School, Aewol Middle School, and Aewol High School all within walking distance, the complex is highly favored by end users in their 30s and 40s who have children. In addition to special admissions benefits for rural areas, Aewol Middle School has been approved as an IB candidate school, offering high-quality educational opportunities."
The area also provides excellent educational conditions and a one-stop living infrastructure. Residents can conveniently access shopping, leisure, and cultural activities through facilities such as Aewol Public Health Center, Aewol Library, Aewol Town Hall, Nonghyup Hanaro Mart, Aewol Neighborhood Park, Aewol 9.81 Park, and the Aewol Complex Cultural and Sports Center (available from March 2026).
Thanks to Iljuseo-ro, it takes about 30 minutes by car to reach Jeju International Airport and the city center, offering excellent transportation convenience. The well-developed transport network also makes it easy to access major Jeju tourist attractions nearby, such as Aewol Cafe Street, Handam Beach, and Gwakji Beach.
Expectations are also rising for future development prospects. The Aewol Living SOC Complex Project will expand local convenience facilities, and the launch of a passenger ferry connecting Aewol Port and Jindo Port in Jeollanam-do is underway, which is expected to enhance interregional mobility. These developments are set to further enrich the residential environment in terms of transportation and culture, leading to a rapid influx of both end users and investors.
Recently, the price for the 84-square-meter apartment type was adjusted from the 600 million won range to the 400 million won range, and various incentives such as free air conditioning and complimentary balcony expansion have eased the initial financial burden for buyers.
This complex consists of 166 units in total, including 136 apartments and 30 officetel units that remained unsold after completion. The exclusive area for apartments ranges from 52 to 110 square meters, while officetels range from 41 to 62 square meters. All units are primarily south-facing, offering double views with ocean views to the north and Oreum (volcanic cone) views to the south. Specialized designs such as piloti structures for some units and a car-free ground level have been applied to create a pleasant residential environment.
The project is developed by Korea Land Trust Co., Ltd., and constructed by Gyeryong Construction Industry Co., Ltd., which ranked 15th in contract orders in 2025, adding to its stability. Jeju ELIF Aewol is located in Aewol-eup, Jeju City.
