A platform for technological exchange that envisions the future of South Korea's defense and robotics industries will be established.

Daejeon City will host the 10th Daejeon Innovation Technology Exchange Conference (DITEC) on October 14 at the Unicorn Lounge on the 20th floor of Daejeon Shinsegae Expo Tower.

This conference, under the theme "Defense & Robotics: Daejeon Leading Innovation in Defense and Robotics Technology," will discuss the defense and robotics industries, which are two of Daejeon's six key strategic industries.

In the first session, Lee Kiho, Director of the Korea Weapon Systems Safety Association, will present on current defense R&D trends and policies and case studies for small and medium-sized enterprises entering the defense market.

Yang Woonje, Director at Roensurgical Co., Ltd., will present on the commercialization and prospects of robotics technology in the medical field.

The second session will feature a panel discussion with presenters and participants, building on the topics covered in the first session.

Choi Wonhyuk, Director of the Corporate Support Bureau of Daejeon City, stated, "Daejeon is the center of South Korea's defense industry, with the Defense Acquisition Program Administration and the Agency for Defense Development located here. It is also a hub for innovation in the robotics industry, led by Rainbow Robotics, a leading domestic robotics company. I hope that those interested in the defense and robotics sectors will attend this conference and gain valuable insights into industry trends."

The event is open to all interested citizens, and registration can be completed via Naver Form or by scanning the QR code at the top of the poster.
