According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, citing foreign observation agencies, a magnitude 6.9 earthquake occurred at 8:12:09 p.m. KST on October 10 in the sea 75 kilometers northeast of Mati, Philippines.
The epicenter was located at latitude 7.30 degrees north and longitude 126.80 degrees east, with a depth of 10 kilometers.
