Yeoju and Yangpyeong Branches of National Agricultural Cooperative Federation Hold Mutual Hometown Love Donation Ceremony

The Significance of Mutual Cooperation and Regional Love Between Neighboring Cities and Counties

Yeoju City in Gyeonggi Province held a mutual hometown love donation ceremony between the Yeoju Branch and the Yangpyeong County Branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation on the 2nd at the mayor's office on the 2nd floor of Yeoju City Hall.

The ceremony was attended by Lee Gye-gwan, head of the Yeoju Branch, Kwon Young-joo, head of the Yangpyeong County Branch, as well as 10 participants including the heads of local agricultural cooperative associations from both cities and counties.


The Yeoju Branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation delivered a total of 19.86 million won in hometown love donations to Yangpyeong County, with 196 executives and employees participating. Similarly, the Yangpyeong County Branch contributed 19.3 million won to Yeoju City, with the participation of 193 executives and employees.


This donation event was organized with the aim of strengthening mutual exchange and cooperation between neighboring cities and counties and sharing the meaning of regional co-prosperity. On the same day at 2 p.m., the two branches held a donation ceremony at Yangpyeong County Office, and then visited Yeoju City Hall to continue with the Yeoju City donation ceremony.


Yeoju City Mayor Lee Chungwoo stated, "This warm act of sharing, supporting each other's regions, has become an opportunity to further strengthen the friendship between the two cities and counties," and added, "I would like to express my deep gratitude to all the executives and employees of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation who made these donations."


Yeoju City plans to use the donated hometown love funds transparently and in accordance with their intended purpose, and will continue to promote and encourage participation in the hometown love donation system in the future.
