Professional Review by Special Education Teachers Ensures Expertise
LG Electronics has officially published the 'Easy Writing Book' to help customers with slower learning abilities and children with developmental disabilities easily learn how to use home appliances.
According to the home appliance industry on October 9, LG Electronics has released five volumes of the Easy Writing Book series, each covering refrigerators, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, washing machines, and microwave ovens. These books explain how to use the appliances with descriptions and illustrations tailored to the understanding level of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities.
The books have also been reviewed by special education teachers. More than 70% of requests come from schools and educational institutions, demonstrating their recognition as educational materials. The books are available at both online and offline bookstores, including Kyobo Bookstore, YES24, and Aladin. The set of five books is priced at 45,000 won, and the e-book version can be downloaded for free.
LG Electronics plans to use the proceeds from book sales to develop new educational books and to operate the 'Home Appliance School Project.'
